June 6th Spokes Fighting Strokes

June 6th, Dan Zimmerman of Spokes Fighting Strokes and his big trailer full of adaptive trikes returns to Portland for an adaptive triking clinic at RecumbentPDX.

Dan brings trikes, and inspiration! Confined to a wheelchair after a 2005 stroke, Dan’s determination to overcome doctors’ grim prognosis led -in 2008- to his first recumbent trike. In addition to triking over 6000 miles a year, Dan travels the United States sharing more than his stories: that trailer of his is just brimming with adaptive trikes YOU can ride!
We joined Dan on a ride to the 2024 Adaptive Sports NW event at Portland Sunday Parkways a couple years ago.  Here’s the video
