SUMMARY:July 13th Zoo Bomb
DESCRIPTION:In conjunction with our local recumbent club\, this motor-kit-required 21 mile loop leaves the shop and travels across the river\, thru downtown\, up Montgomery street to Council Crest\, around the Fairmount Loop to Mel’s ABSOLUTE FAVORITE road -Hewitt- then takes a bike path across 26\, down through Knight Road in Washington Park and then the requisite Zoo Bomb before stopping at Oven & Shaker for pizza (and\, of course\, the shop buys the pies) and then back to the shop! Distance/Difficulty: 20+ miles with over 1000 foot of vertical climb. Motor kit required.  Here’s a map (with slight variation from our actual route)

DESCRIPTION:These may be the coolest rides of the summer!  Portland International Raceway’s FIA Grade Two rating is shared with legendary tracks like Brands-Hatch\, Spa-Francorchamps and Circuit Paul Ricard.  Imagine riding your trike on the same circuit where Mario Andretti\, Emerson Fittipaldi and Bobby Rahal have all taken checkered flags! \nThis is two-mile wide-open car and pedestrian-free environment where you can ride without distraction.  You can bring your own trike or -if you’re new to triking- RPDX will bring a trailer full of trikes to test ride\, so email or call to reserve a time slot.  We’ll have refreshments.  It’ll be more fun than you can imagine!! \nPlease PLEASE read\, sign and bring Adaptive Sports’ waiver form \nJune 23 & 30 \nJuly 7\, 14\, 21 & 28 \nSept 8\, 15\, 22 & 29
