SUMMARY:May 14th Wednesday Pizza Ride
DESCRIPTION:We love this ride -Janet and Mel do it a couple times a week! From the shop\, the route almost entirely follows designated cycling streets to Mt. Tabor. There is one 400 foot climb that’s easy with a motor but still doable without. Also\, we re-trace our route on Tabor\, so you don’t have to worry about making the entire climb.  On the way back\, we’ll ride residential streets to SE Division’s Cibo pizza where RPDX pays for the pies.  Then\, back to the shop.  5:30 pm start. 8:34 sunset.  Distance/Difficulty: 7 miles/moderate  (Rain Date: May 21st)  Out and back map (slight detour to Cibo not shown)

SUMMARY:May 18 Sunday Ride to Oregon City Arch Bridge (UPDATED START TIME)
DESCRIPTION:Meet at 9:15am for coffee and cake.  Leave at 10:00am.  In conjunction with the local recumbent club\, this motor-kit-recommended 31 mile loop leaves the shop and travels over the Tilikum Crossing\, up Riverview Cemetery\, through Tryon Creek Natural Area\, George Rogers Park\, Mary S Young Park and across the Arch Bridge.  We stop at the Corner 14 food carts for lunch and follow the the 82nd street pedestrian bridge and up the Trolley Trail and Springwater Corridor.  Distance/Difficulty: 30+ miles with over 1000 vertical foot of climb. Mel and Janet do it without a motor\, so it’s “doable”.  Nonetheless\, it’s motor recommended.  Here’s a map
